A personalised, multi-layered plan
This treatment uses a precise wavelength of UVB light (308nm) to gently calm the immune response in areas affected by hair loss. It works by targeting overactive immune cells around hair follicles, reducing inflammation and restarting natural hair growth. The light is applied only to the areas that need treatment, leaving healthy skin untouched. It’s safe, non-invasive, and painless, with quick sessions that are well-suited even for younger clients.
This treatment delivers concentrated nourishment directly to the scalp. Our mesotherapy infuses peptides, vitamins, and growth factors into the follicle layer to support healthy hair regrowth. By strengthening and hydrating the hair roots, it boosts scalp vitality and encourages natural regeneration. This targeted internal approach helps revive weakened follicles and works well alongside other therapies in your care protocol.
Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT) uses red and near-infrared light to energise hair follicles and support scalp function. This advanced therapy enhances cell activity, improves circulation, and strengthens follicle resilience, helping your hair respond better to treatment. It’s gentle, non-invasive, and clinically proven to support regrowth when used consistently as part of a broader treatment plan.
Every treatment journey at Meshkati is designed around your needs. Based on your consultation, we develop a personalised protocol that may include UVB light therapy, mesotherapy, LLLT, nutritional support, and clinical monitoring. This science-led, holistic approach helps restore growth, maintain results, and reduces the risk of future relapse—guiding you toward long-term confidence.
What happens in the body
Alopecia areata is an autoimmune condition that causes patchy hair loss, most commonly on the scalp, eyebrows, beard, or eyelashes. In some cases, it may also affect body hair, either partially or completely. More advanced forms include alopecia totalis, involving total loss of scalp hair, and alopecia universalis, which results in complete loss of both scalp and body hair. Some people experience spontaneous regrowth, while others may notice progression or recurrence. Though not physically harmful, alopecia can have an emotional impact.
In alopecia areata, your immune system mistakenly targets the hair follicle during its active growth phase. Normally protected by a mechanism called immune privilege, the follicle becomes vulnerable when this barrier breaks down. Immune cells, particularly CD8+ T lymphocytes, surround the follicle and release inflammatory signals (like IFN-γ and TNF-α), disrupting the growth cycle and causing shedding.
Because this process is non-scarring, follicles remain structurally intact, meaning regrowth is possible with the right intervention.
