What is Follicular Unit Extraction?
Meshkati offers a unique approach to Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) hair transplant.
FUE is an established hair-transplant solution. It increases hair density in sparse areas of the scalp by extracting units of hair follicles from a region of dense hair growth and implanting them in sparse areas.
By blending artistry and technical mastery, our dedicated FUE team achieves entirely natural results. Meshkati has also developed a holistic approach to FUE to assure that both the donor and recipient regions are given optimal care and consideration prior to, during, and after the surgery.

How does FUE work?
Meshkati’s approach to FUE starts with an initial pre-care treatment programme that stabilises the hair loss and strengthens the existing roots.
Once this phase is completed, the FUE procedure is carried out under local anaesthesia over the course of a few hours. With this technique, units of hair follicles from a region of dense hair growth, typically at the sides and the back of the head, are extracted and transplanted into sparse areas of the scalp.
Our expert FUE team combines scientific skills with an artistic sensitivity to create natural results. Unlike most other hair clinics, we do not charge per hair follicle transplanted. Rather, we charge a flat fee, focusing solely on the end result – no matter the number of strands involved to achieve it.
After the transplant, the FUE programme ends with a series of LED low-level light-therapy sessions that enhance the conditions for follicle regrowth.
Given the natural limitations of this technique, it is recommended only for limited sparse areas such as the front receding hairline. However, this solution can be used in combination with our other techniques to achieve a full and beautiful hair restoration.
